Odisha Govt approves land allotment for long-pending industrial proposals
The Land Allotment Committee (LAC), chaired by IDCO Chairperson Usha Padhee, approved land allocation for these long-pending industrial projects.

Soon after taking charge, Padhee held an in-depth interaction with senior officers and staff of IDCO, focusing on the corporation’s ongoing initiatives, key priorities, and the strategic roadmap for strengthening industrial infrastructure across Odisha.

She emphasized the need for timely project execution, transparency, robust inter-departmental coordination, and efficient facilitation for investors.

Highlighting IDCO’s pivotal role, Padhee underlined its responsibility in enabling industrial growth through land development, infrastructure creation, and investment facilitation across the state.
Padhee also stressed that industrial infrastructure development must progress in tandem with planned urban growth. She underscored the importance of developing well-planned industrial townships supported by quality civic amenities, efficient mobility, and sustainable infrastructure to ensure balanced and integrated regional development.
